Oregon Sues to Block National Guard Deployment to Portland Oregon and the City of Portland have filed a federal lawsuit to stop President Trump from sending 200 National Guard troops to the city. Governor Tina Kotek said there is no insurrection or national security threat and called the deployment unlawful. The case is now before U.S. District Judge Michael Simon.
